Payment

We know that attorneys and advocates can be expensive. That’s why we take all our cases on a contingency basis, so we don’t get paid unless you get paid! Our contingency fee of $9,500 is for securing protective supervision through:

• initial IHSS applications,
• IHSS reassessments; and
• IHSS appeals.

Our $9,500 contingency fee is usually due within 3 months after you win protective supervision, so the payment you receive from the county during those 3 months will more than cover our fee. Not only that, but our fee is actually less than what most IHSS advocacy groups charge- and they’re not even lawyers!
