The following IHSS wages are set by each county in California:

For every hour a provider spends assisting a recipient in 2022, the provider is entitled to the above IHSS wages, based on the California county of residence. For example, if a mother in San Diego County is the primary provider for her daughter, who qualifies for 283 hours per month of IHSS protective supervision, then the mother would be entitled to $4,386.50 per month (283 x $15.50) in 2022. Similarly, if that family moved from San Diego County to San Francisco County and the son still qualified for 283 hours of IHSS, then his mother would be entitled to $5,094 per month (283 x $18.00).
